XB4, XB2 and XT2 win at Czech Nationals R2 |

The 2nd round of 1/10 Czech nationals took place last weekend in Janovice. Organisers prepared whole area perfectly and everything was looking great! Track layout was very easy, so we expected the racing to be quite close. There was a rain in Friday morning, so grip for afternoon practice was very good ⦠However that changed over Saturday.
In qualifications the track still kept some water and grip was quite okay. In 2wd, my XB2D was amazing and showed great speed as I TQed Q1 and Q2 to take the overall TQ with Max Gotzl and Zdenek Miksovsky completing TOP 3 for finals.
In 4wd, I had a good run in Q1 to take TQ, but errors in Q2 and Q3 meant that Max Gotzl took the overall TQ, I lined up 2nd and Zdenek again 3rd!
In Truck class, my Hobbywing powered XT2D was great and TQed all three rounds!

| For 4wd finals we did some changes on the car and it paid off as I took the wins in A1 and A2. As I started 2nd, I decided to rather not to start in A3. However that final was full of drama and in the end Zdenek Miksovsky took the win, which gave him 2nd place overall! |

For finals the track got quite dry and organisers decided to keep it like that â“ traction went super low. In 2wd finals, my XB2D on JConcepts tires took âśtone to toneâť victories in all three mains! Main fight was for the 2nd spot as Max Gotzl had to defend his place from several challengers, but managed it successfully! Zdenek Miksovsky completed TOP 3 making it XRAY 1-2-3! |

I struggled a bit with low traction Truck class in A1, but with few changes for A2 and A3 I managed to take the win ahead of Max and Martin! |

That was the 2nd round of Czech nationals! Next round is going to be on astroturf â“ third race, third different surface!!!
